I'll be twenty-six years old in exactly three months. Oh, boy.
I'm impressed with myself for having kept my apartment relatively clean for three days.
I need to do something. I need to accomplish something. Grr. Let's go!

Romans 6:1 - 2
"What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin that grace may abound? By no means! How can we who died to sin still live in it?" Romans 6:1 - 2
"Paul forcefully rejects the notion that we should ignore God's will and deliberately sin, knowing that He will forgive. That is an abuse of grace." - Lutheran study Bible notes.

a little introduction, late
This is, like, my 50th blog on the whole world wide web, if you didn't know.
I thought I'd share some of my back-story.
I attended, but did not graduate from Texas Bible Institute. I left early because 1) I couldn't live with 5 other girls in such a small room for a such a long time. 2) I don't believe speaking in tongues is proof of anyone's salvation.
I lived in my hometown for a little while, but soon ended up in San Antonio, Texas, (90 miles from my hometown) dancing at Tiffany's Cabaret. I continued dancing (stripping) for a year and a half, on and off.
I moved to Kingsville, Texas to live with a boyfriend (who was 13 years older than me). I lived with him for about 2 years.
After we broke up, I moved to Dallas, Texas and began working as an escort / call-girl / whatever you'd like to call it. Most strippers have gone into the VIP lounge to do the equivalent, but the way I was doing it in Dallas - - getting caught by law enforcement wasn't ever a worry.
Eventually, I quit. I got married on January 29th, 2008. I left my (ex) husband on May 7th, 2008. We officially divorced in August of 2010.
Besides (finally) falling in love, the one big thing that's happened since then - I gave birth to my daughter on May 21st, 2010... sadly, her father is not the man I fell in love with.
I made a few friends along the way.

Ellie:
Donavon:
Annie:
(Size of picture has no bearing on greatness of friendship.)
These are the friends that I believe will be around longer than any others, ever.
And... my daughter:
Chloe:
Oh, by the way - I'm Lutheran - LCMS.
job search
Next week, I'd like to go out and apply at different restaurants and hotels to find a job. I'm not qualified for much, but eventually I'll find something - I hope.
I'll also be looking around for ways to make a extra money.
Anyone have any ideas on how to make extra money? This is assuming I've already found, at least, a part time job.

charlie sheen
Besides that, I can't stand it when I read someone's tweet or status update that says something like, "I don't know anything about this Charlie Sheen stuff." Why is it necessary to announce that you don't know something about someone or something? Do we announce that we don't know something about someone else who's been on the news?
This probably means nothing to anyone else, but I'm just venting. I'd just rather know people like Charlie Sheen than people who think they're somehow better than him because their sin is covered up and not being broadcast on national television.

Romans 3:10-12
10 as it is written:
"None is righteous, no, not one;11 no one understands;
no one seeks for God.12 All have turned aside; together they have become worthless;
no one does good,
not even one."
no one seeks for God.12 All have turned aside; together they have become worthless;
no one does good,
not even one."
